The BPDF is designing and building a new cGMP pilot plant that will accommodate bacteria and yeast at the 250 L-scale and mammalian systems at the 100 L-scale. The new cGMP pilot plant will be capable of producing lyophilized vialed product. Previously the BPDF had a cGMP pilot plant that operated at the 500 L-scale and produce purified bulk product.
