The Quality Control Chemistry Laboratory (QCCL) is a FDA compliant laboratory that serves the analytical methods needs of the BPDF with all methods performed using approved SOPs. Capabilities include: HPLC with UV, photodiode array, and electronic light scattering detectors; capillary electrophoresis with UV and fluorescence detectors; gas chromatography with FID detectors; and microtiter plate reader with scanning UV and fluorescence detection. Other capabilities include: FTIR, total organic carbon, automated LAL (endotoxin), ELISA, standard protein determination and electrophoresis, SDS-PAGE, Western blot, IEF, and 2-D SDS PAGE.
The QCCL also oversees 5 validated stability chambers; 2 chambers capable of 5C to 60C with humidity control, 2 chambers capable of -20C to 80C with humidity control, one chamber capable of 25C to 80C no humidity control and a -80C.
